CD TRACK 4 PLACING SHARP AND FLAT ACCIDENTAL NOTES In the musical alphabet there is one accidental note between all natural notes except B & C and E & F. Accidental notes are found between A & B, C & D, D & E, F & G, G & A. Each accidental has 2 names, one is a sharp, the other is a flat. It is the same note, always played the same way, but it has two different names. Remember, a sharp comes after an note, and a flat comes before a note. So the accidental note between A & B is A# or Bb. When a single note has 2 different names it is called an Enharmonic note.
