Page 14 ALTERNATING BASS NOTES This example is slightly varied from the "BASS NOTES" exercise above. First, the bass note alternates from the 6th and 5th string. Also, notice when you strum the partial chord you are not including all of the other chord notes. This is a common technique.
PARTIAL CHORDS The last 2 exercises used partial chords. The exercise below is yet another of the many strumming patterns you’ll find in popular music.
